speaker and amp needed!

Hey ,

I am planning to buy a combination of bookshelf speakers and amp to connect to my computer with a 40% emphasis on movies and 60 % on music.

I want to get analog sound as far as possible so please suggest a amp and speaker.

Going to setup speakers in a 150 sq ft room. Budget: 50 K

Please suggest.

I am not very much experienced with stereo amps so I will leave that to others more qualified/experienced in this area...

But if I may make a suggestion that I would want you to seriously consider...

Since you say you want to connect to your PC then I would recommend Audioengine A5 powered speakers. They are truly amazing, come for around 20K, give amazing clarity and are pretty loud to boot. Read up on them, lots of great reviews about the A5s.
