Hello all,

I am in the process of setting up my new HT in a room measuring 11 x 15ft with a viewing distance of 10ft. My system comprises of:

AVR: Denon 1912
Fronts BS: Wharfedale 9.2
Centre: Wharfedale 9CS
Rear: Wharfedale 9DFS
Sub: undecided and yet to buy

I am in the process of laying out the cables (internally / concealed in the wall thru tubing) and require advise on the following areas:

1. Which brand - Blue Jean, Audioquest or DAC
2. 14 awg for all speakers or 14awg for fronts and 16 awg for surround
3. I would be bi wiring the fronts so is it ok to go for 2 seperate sets of wires or does it make a difference using a single quad wire (apart from the convenience of course)

Some light on the above would help making a correct decision as the wires would be concealed so need to get it right.

Instead of biwiring the fronts buy a single good quality speaker cable. I find that biwiring muddles up the soundstage slighty and gives a false sense of open highs.
Biwire only if you plan to biamp too !
