Speaker Cables for my set up

Dear FMs,

I have a Norge 2069 + BA A 26 set up at home. I'm looking for a suggestion on decent speaker wires for the same.

I went to the Hi Fi Mart website a saw a couple of DAC branded wires in denominations of 20, 18, 16 and 14 AWG (there might be 12 AWG also). I did a quick wiki and found out that AWG is an acronym for American Wire Gauge, so might be something to do with the size of the cables.

Still I'm not able to decide which ones of these cables will be ideal for my set up. So any recommendation / help will be highly appreciated. I'm fine to explore other brands like MX too.

how many threads will you start ?

why not ask all questions in 1 thread only ?

the DAC cables on hifimart and not too expensive and you can go as per your pocket.

In any case the changes will not be discernible at this level.

please continue your thread from where you left off .... the first one and build on that.

Why don't you simply ask Norge?
DAC is good. For your amp and speakers 16 AWG should be sufficient or at most 14 AWG.

Dear MPW and Naturelover,

First of all, sincere apologies if I have troubled you or any other FMs with a barrage of questions from my end. I guess I'm just too excited to own a very humble system that I was planning to get for years. I think I'm getting a little carried away in the process, so pardon me for that.

Another reason I see asking different questions is because (I might be wrong here) I've seen that people stop answering when the thread becomes too long or old. I also felt that a particular questions should be posted in the relevant section, hence so many questions.

But all said and done, I'll refrain from starting too many threads in future. All of you all are too dear to me and without your help, I would have never been able to set up this system. I would remain obliged forever for the same.

As an first step please try your electric cable ( finolex) in your house.. If it is not satisfying your music thirst then jump into another.

Dont concentrate on cables as of now, use any copper speaker cable 16AWG or 14AWG...otherwise - murge se jyada masala mahanga padega[emoji6]
