Speakers for the Yamaha 467

My nephew checked in a Yamaha 467 from Singapore and it helped protect the wallet. Looking for some floor standers which would pair well. Thinking of wharfe 9.5. I am hoping the music will be enjoyable..

I would recommend you for the MIssion series...i heard the wharfs on the 467 no bass...it sounds ok with the SW...though there i a cost diff...with the SW the wharfs would be very close to the mission

Carry your amp and audition the brands available in your area, Depending on your roomsize and amp power you can either choose a speaker package 5.1 or start building the system slowly...

I am using my My Yamaha V457 AVR with 6.1 setup (Main driver speakers are my 15 year old Woodstock Optimus 300 MKII [havnt heard anything like these even in the newer top end imported model] and rest 4 are Sony speakers [2 Main and 2 surround] from my old sound system)... This layout is giving me incredible sound even better than my friends high end layouts...

How much you have had to shell out and from which shop at Singapore. I am asking this as my brother is going Singapore in the next week.

i am not sure of actual cost, it hasnt reached me but it works out about 22K there..price is there on yamaha singapore site as well..
