SPIDF in Mi tv 4X does not work

Pls suggest what to when SPIDF cable is connected to my mi TV 4x 55 inch with Digital to analog Audio Converter my home theater does not receive sound. Even I have tried to SPIDF out on my tv. Pls help

Have you tried with HDMI ? Do you have this option in your HT
