Spikes with ceramic tiles?

I'd forgotten: I did use the coin trick when I got fed up with drilling holes in my wooden floor. On an old floor, even moving the speakers a tiny amount could render them rockable with a finger! Then the levelling had to be done again.

Certainly I could feel the bass through the floor --- which I can't with concrete and tiles.
