stabs for main metre?

hello brothers

want to know can we use stabilizer directly to our main meter

like in my home i have 12.5 kw load of meter for whole house

does any benifit of using it coz last day here we have heavy rainfall and thunder lighting and many of our fellow neighbors tvs and acs died coz of this

so i also check all my home equipment and they work fine thank god

i contact my electrician he said it is better to use voltage stabs for home

so it will not only protect household things from thunder or lightining but also from spike protection fluctuation etc etc

is he saying right?

manu, it might be useful if you do a LITTLE bit of reading (on these forums or elsewhere on the net), before you rattle of a new thread. There are many many threads on stabilisers and so on, on these forums themselves.

Nothing has been invented yet to protect an equipment from Lightning other than plugging out from the mains...
