Sticky thread on nature of speakers/ amps..

Is there a sticky thread on the signature of speakers/ amps and the combo that works well ? It would be good if the HFV members pour in their experience to create one if none exists already. Such things could be useful for newbies to entire HIFI world and new joinees to the forum ..

I am sure at the end of the day one should trust their own ears and not go by the list given as they could be subjective, however, the general consensus/opinions cannot go wrong from the experience of HFV members..

for ex

Bright amps
laid back amps
warm amps

speakers

bright speakers
laid back
warm

combo :

bright + laidback speakers or warm ones


etc..

The topic is highly discussed in other post.Mostly "What to Buy" thread for amplifiers would carry the information you looking for.But my personal opinion.

1.NAD Laid Back
2.Marantz-Nuetral
3.Onkyo- Forward
4. Yamaha- Slightly Bright compared to Onkyo.
5.Sansui- Neutral
6.Denon- Nuetral
7.Rotel- Slightly Bright

This is my honest opinion of my personal listening.

thank you , I meant a sticky thread for ready reference so that it doesn't have to be searched often but just hangs around at the top. Thanks for this list.
