Streamer for Android smart phone?

I have apple Tv through its optical out to my wyred4sound dac I am hearing my audio songs. Which I find very convenient to hear my Iphone 320 kps songs. The quality of the playback also is not bad no drop or any other flaws. My doubt is whether there is any streamer like for android smart phone? If so let me know the details with your good experience also thanks in advance

Till then, you can stream from android to Apple TV also. There are apps in the store if you search.

Any UPnP/Airplay device can act as a streamer (like ur apple tv is acting as airplay only device i presume) So with android as well there are apps that support airplay and UPnP both, like Airaudio, All Stream, Bubble UPnP, All cast ....etc etc

For that you need and Andriod app that can search upnp server and clients in the network but if you are trying to stream anything that is running on your phone (say Saavn, Gaana.com), that is difficult .

iPhone/iPad to Apple TV/Airport Express has been most convenient so far.

DoubleTwist player with Magicplay will let you stream your music to Apple TV. Having said that Airplay is from Apple's stable and works best in an Apple environment, Android apps are doing much better than they were couple of years back but it still is not as solid as it can be.

The ones I listed ARE android apps only ... which do search UPnP devices and yes few of them like AirAudio also stream via gaana and saavan and spotify and ....blah blah, the only catch is your phone needs to be rooted. (But songs residing on phone or NAS or Cloud can be streamed easily using BubbleUPnP
