SubWoofer between 20k to 50k...?!?

Sud98 - This is a very good deal and shopyourworld has quoted me a price of 14K for home delivery. I'm really tempted. My room is about 20*12*10 (2400 cu ft). Do you think this sub would suffice or should I be looking at a more powerful sub? Thanks in advance!

I think it should suffice. I have similar dimensions and it seems good enough for me.

i do have a few speakers in mind and took demos of some but nothing really to my liking as yet. Heard combinations of wharfs, q acoustics, paradigm, mordaunt shorts between my time in mumbai & delhi.... they were good no doubt but none of these really made me want to but em...

Also the thing in delhi is that a lot of speakers brands are not available for demo. And then off the brands that are available the dealers dont have quite a few of the models/series from the range for demo purpose. The same is true for AVRs.... Only for sale.... I hope this scenario can change for the positive in the future.

i considered B&W 685 based setup, but it's overpriced... moreover you can't demo then in delhi anymore as the showroom is closed... don't like the brightness of jbl, polk & klipsh... was not impressed either by the dali or by quad... dont know what but something was missing in them.... no idea bout jamo... cant demo usher in delhi...

i'm looking forward to the PSB demo...

had a funny moment... the package said 325 watts Bash amp. So i called up audire to make sure before opening... They told me that the carton might be a old one but the sub inside should have the 400 watts Sledge Amp.

Opened it and it says 400 watts Sledge.

Are you gonna do some kind of break in...?

Has anyone compared SVS PC 12 NSD with Deftech Supercube III or with Martin Logon Dynamo 700 ? I have read good reviews about all three.. and have only heard Supercube III which sounded nice.

Any views on above will be helpful. Thanks

before i made a purchase i did a lot of research across a lot of forums.... only 2 names kept coming up... SVS and HSU...!

I have heard the PC 12 NSD as i have it its super..! haven't heard the other 2. But my research told me that the PC12 NSD was better then them both. Mind you this is what my research across many forums and websites told me. I have not heard the other 2 on your list.

Buy a Sub-woofer from a subwoofer expert company and speakers from a speaker expert company.

Speak to audire technologies and sharath/sandeep will guide you as to what you need for your room requirements. They might still have the 10% off on eventual selling price and free shipping offer to the first 100 SVS customer in India.
