any problem with placing a sub close to a CD/DVD rack?

in that sense, would the magnet in the sub affect/spoil the CDs/DVDs?

appreciate the feedback.

I dont think so.. all speakers and subs are magnetically shielded these days so if wont spoil ur CDs/DVDs.. sub placement will only affect the sound... like placing too close to a corner would result in boomy bass.. so choose ur placement where u r satisfied with the sound..

Cheers..!!

Even otherwise there should not be a problem unless you have cassettes or any other magentic tape in the rack.

CD/DVDs are immune to magnetic fields since they are optical media.

also, unlike CD/DVD which u might plan to place inside a rack/cabinet, do not place a sub inside any cabinet, it can be too boomy....i had posted a question on sub placement i got this info...thot of sharing it......

Just make sure that the CD/DVDs don't rattle when there is excessive bass. This can be quite distracting if it happens.
