suggest me subwoofers for this setup!!!

so my listening room size is 11x20, and the approx distance between my front speakers and listening area is 8 feet.

my current setup is yamaha rx 675 and dali zensor 3 as front speakers,

im planning to add the center and surrond speakers after 2 months, but planning to add subwoofer in jan as i miss the movie experience without subwoofers!!

please suggest me some good subwoofers that go with zensors, within a budget of 20 - 30k!! the dali 12F sub is nice but it costs 45k+ and is out of my budget!!!

Polk downward firing psw 500 would be a good option.
Unlike other cheaper front firing subs it won't deliver a pointed attack towards the subject, but hides itself nicely.
It delivers low frequency notes without the boomy effect.
Of course for more refined and costly ones one can look at focal or velodyne.

i have another question, what would i be losing by going for the 30k sub instead of the 50k ones??

while i was auditioning i demoed the avr with denon 12 woofer and an woofer from yamaha (around 28k, new model, not sure about the number) and i couldn't find any difference between them , while they played some movies!!

Premium subs have tighter and smooth bass that integrates seamlessly into the rest of speakers. And also they are more deeper.

The difference in price & performance is always subjective one & endless subject.... Pricier doesn't always mean they are superior...

What if there were subwoofers for 1/3rd of the cost that you have mentioned here ?

Astonia Subwoofer is Around 16.5K...They were rated "Best Buy" by AVMax magazine recently.... There is Sonodyne Roar series 108/210 for 18 & 20K in Hifimart.....

Yamaha, Deon are not the good names in sub woofers.... Keep them as your second choice if you dont find subwoofers in your budget from a specialist company...

Depends on whether you like VFM products (or) brands

According to my years of experience, I understood one thing. Premium priced products always show an easily recognizable upside in performance. VFM is a relative idea. Premium performance is absolute.

Agree to some extent until when someone doesn't feel the pinch of price for premium products....

The moment when someone feels the pinch of price, VFM is better...
