Hello,

First of all thanks for your suggestions in buying a good HT. recently i purchased a Pioneer HTP RS 32 which was good for my taste coz i like heavy bass..

But the problem was the center and surround speakers didn't have any silk dome or semi dome tweeters which means it's lack of clear and crisp highs. Overall it was good but i want to add three tweeters or atleast one good tweeter to the center channel for now. So, please advise me any good budget tweeters.

Thank you.

The rear and surrounds are full range coaxial drivers. You cant really add a tweeter or tweeters
I am not saying that it cant be done at all However
Too much off a pain designing the crossover and not really worth the effort.

i don't know much about these crossover etc problems. what ll happen if blindly add a silk dome tweeter of 8ohms @ 100watts.?

Also, adding a tweeter ll not make any difference atleast for centre channel..?

No you cannot add a tweeter blindly without a crossover .
In Lay man terms
A crossover will filter out all frequencies and send only ex 3000 hz and above to the tweeter.
Without a crossover in the picture. the amplifier will send full range signal to the tweeter and this is prematurely blow the tweeter.
Plus there are other factors such as impedance to look at.

The coaxial driver in your Ceter and surrounds . is a rull range driver which basically can play the entire freq range.
This is a lot like car speakers. a single driver playing the entire frequency range.

IMO. plat around with the AVR and the equalizer if needed, to get a better HF response. You can also fiddle with the gain levels to increase the output to your surrounds and Center. This should do the trick .
Also tone down the subwoofer volume.

Cheers

thanks for the reply flash.

Just i thought of adding an external tweeter. but, it may ruin my entire system according to your comments. So, i guess keeping it untouched and adjusting the settings may get some difference which was good and safe also.
