Suggestion for buying TV?

Hi,

I am looking for buying a 40-42 inch tv.


1) Watch a lot of SD channels so the SD channels should have good quality and Sports HD channels
2) Viewing distance is 8 feet
3) Currently I have 32inch Panasonic LCD
4) I have brite view media player for playing all formats.

The PQ and SQ should be very good.

My budget is 50 to 60.. Can stretch to 65k

I also got mediabridge VGA cables which costs 15 dollars. I had asked my friend to buy it. Bought this because the PQ also depends on the cable quality which I read somewhere in this site.

Currently I have shortlisted EX650,W650A,UA40F5500AR,UA40F6100AR

Which can I go?

Haven't seen much of Sony so Samsung from me specifically F5500 at less than 60000.

EX650 will be better than Samsung models.

Is EX650 better than W650A? Will the quality of the SD channels be bad?

i think u should consider sony w650a as it has x reality pro processing and motion flow technology carried over from last years sony hx series, i dont think last years sony EX series had this,
and also size is 42inch so bigger the better , it should be far better than last years sony ex series, do demo them both....

I think w650 has IPS panel where EX650 got SPVA panel so EX will have higher contrast and much better blacks.

Checked the Sony showrooms.. They told EX650 40 inch is no longer in production.

I got the 42 W800A .. Didn't look for other brand as I simply went for Sony. Was looking for the HX850 or HX750 but none of the shops had stock. Took almost a half hour to check the PQ of W650A,W800,w700(46) and HX850(Demo piece) .

W650A

1.. Decent PQ quality
2. Less pq than EX650
3. The picture was very dim compared to other 4 models listed
The brightness was 50 was set in all the Tv's
W800A

1. Awesome PQ... SD viewing is very good. 10% less than HX850
This diff we can see clearly.
2. Nice detail of images
3. Natural Color
4. Blue ray content is stunning
5. HD channels was equally good..

Will get my TV delivered tomorrow.
