Suggestion for Stereo set up !!!

" Made in India" Stereo amplifiers and Speakers for a room ~ 225 sqft budget is not too high 20K excluding the input ( CD player etc).

Music : Instrumental, hip hop

Search the forum for Norge 2060/norge 1000 and norge millenium speakers.
You can also try Sonodyne products.

Either go for AE5.

Or Norge 2060 + Wharf 9.1 + an ordinary DVD player

either way you will shell out close to 20k

norge + wharf is a good combo.. however you wud need to spend for stands for BS

if you can shell out more..

then norge+ telome bt 300.. they will also do a good job...

Considering your above factors I suggest following options:
1. Norge-2060 @7.5k + Norge Millenium @12k + regular LG DVD Player @2.5k = 22k
2. Norge-2060 @7.5k + Wharfe 9.2 @14.5k + regular LG DVD Player @2.5k = 24.5k

BTW reg AE5 suggestion by Techboy in this thread, I don't think they can deliver the type and quantity of bass required for hip hop. Even 9.1 woudln't do for hip hop. Ram, You should audition these personally, before taking decision.

It will be a tough call btw the Whafs and the AE5.

Bass/Laid back sound: Wharf

Neutral/Balanced sound: AE5

So it depends on you.

ram look for a used norge amp .. along with wharf as they are the most recommended ones here...

If you can spend 20k on the receiver alone, then go for Marantz PM5003 for 20k.
