Support of NTSC/PAL format on Panasonic Plasma - VIERA TH-P42S10D

Hi All,

Currently I having a setup of following components

A/V Yamaha RXV-663
DVD Player - Sony DVP-NS710H/B 1080p Upscaling
Speakers Wharfedale 9 series (5.1 setup)

I have bought my DVD Player and A/V from US (I am shifted back to India now). I am aware my A/V only works on NTSC but my DVD player playback NTSC as well as PAL formats.

Now the issue I am facing is

I am planning to buy Panasonic Plasma - VIERA TH-P42S10D. I am not sure if it supports multi channel (plays NTS and PAL formats both). If I connect my DVD Player to my TV it will run both NTSC and PAL DVDs or not (as I have a collection of lot of English movies in NSTC formats)? If it plays then will it affect on quality of the output?

Please help

You should have no problems in playing both PAL & NTSC DVDs, without any loss in quality on any Panasonic plasma.
