Surge protection for Yggy

Aanuj, power in Mumbai is fairly stable. There are no power cuts. In the last 25 years, no equipment of mine has gone down because of power fluctuations.

I was looking at a simple surge suppressor more for peace of mind

UPS in Mumbai is not essential. I don't know if anyone uses one for audio in Mumbai.

An online ups from APC will take care of all from surge protection to brownout to small spikes. Or get your self a Belkin gold surge protectors but it has mov inside,if you are ok with movs.

Belkin, the name is better compared to their products. Their products look good from outside but inherently they are average from inside. Thats why my experience is.

Having lost my PC psu, mother board, ram and GPU with Belkin surge protector failure, i lost faith in that brand as well.

Sorry to hear that. I too dont like belkin. Its just a glorified chinese brand in my opinion.
