Sorry, I was away for a month and a half... They are slowly breaking in and to my surprise the harshness was gone by reverting to my old simple audioquest forest ICs. I had put an expensive IC gifted by another audiophile on the first day and that was the culprit....
There is so much more detailing than the Harbeths and the dynamics are superb.
I still have to play around with the placement whatever little I can do in my small room and probably use some sort of diffuser/absorber at the front corners to get the best out of them but I am waiting for another 30-40 hours of break in before I try basic acoustics....
Overall, a big step up from the Harbeths in terms of clarity/detailing as well as the lower frequencies. Will judge the mid range after another 30-40 hours of break in...
