Tannoy Turnberry speakers audition over this weekend?

Dr. Bass & 2chFreak,

You are very right in your observations/comments. BTW, the cheaper Sterlings also have these Alnico magnets, but overall people prefer the T'berrys. I am happy that the magnet is not all there is to it. Actually everybody who has heard the Kensington recommends it, but of course it comes with its price. The general consensus of people who have heard all 3 and want the most bang for the buck is to go for the T'berrys, considering all aspects of price and performance.

Regards.

The audition is likely happening on Saturday at 5pm or Sunday morning.

I would be able to get a confirmation tomorrow morning. So someone wanted to join me can call me @9811353566 post 3:30pm tomorrow.

Thanks everyone :-)

Asit, AFAIK both Stirling and Turnberry have ferrite magnets. Kensington is the starting point of Alnico magnets. Turnberry is preferable because its cabinet design is a classic and kind of highly optimized for the 10" driver. The Stirling is a new design deliberately scaled down to make for a more cost effective option. Having said that, I could be happy with either.
