The new Thiels

Mark Mason, formerly of PSB have taken over design and looks like the first order phase coherent design criteria has been abandoned.
Has anyone heard these new speakers from Thiel ?

Thiels have long abandoned the first order time/phase coherence idea.

I have heard a few in showrooms which is hardly a representation of things but there is definitely a loss in organic sound quality vis a vis the old Thiel sound. That's about the only way I can put it. The new Thiels are a bit modern sounding in large part due to the new driver materials as well.

Very subjective opinion based on some very limited auditions ...
