Hi,

Not sure if there is already a thread to appreciate anyone's efforts or any thing you think worth appreciating, it can be a person, article, music antything

Firstly I wish to appreciate Hifivision forum, because of which i got introduced to so many great and humble people

1. Yezdian ( Aditya ) : he is a person who educated me on hifi speakers, components, their usablity, manufacturing details of speakers, records, amps, differences between each components and their effect on sound signature etc in detail

not just that he came to help me service my two wheeler ( Honda Dio ), one day when i wanted to visit his place and my bike did not start, he came with all the tool kit, and almost did overhauling of my bike....

He gave me lot of records for free too ... he surely deserves :clapping: :clapping:

2. Sachin ( sachu888 ) : patience + lot of patience + Great Mind - attitude = Sachin.

not just the phono stage packaging, which needs lot of patience and time, he answered my so many queries and irrevalant questions too without a uff ...

:clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

3. Bhasker Roy ( kolkatta ) : he sent me 4 records, and this records shine like new penny, and i appreciate his efforts taken to pack them so nicely, i would'nt have done this much ... :clapping: :clapping: :clapping: please check out the pics of his packaging, there are 4 pieces of wooden strips too for strengthening the package.

Sorry if i missed to appreciate someone not to worry, will cover them break ke baad ... Happy New Year to all

always wanted to brag Phillips AF 834 TT, for few reassons and also wish to compare the similaraties to highend TT

1 . tone arm : if you notice most of the high end TT comes with a straight tonearm

2. Most of the High end TT's are belt driven, they say it helps to eradicate the noise and vibration of the motor

3. most of the TT's which are considered to be audiophile grade have anti skate and counter weight

4. very simple circuitry to add to the noise cancellation due to power flow ... even the tone arm automatically goes back by a mechanical activity, no motor etc is involved

5. most of the tonearm which have removable head shell makes it easier for cartridge mounting ... some people use two head shell and mount two different cartridges, change as per their taste and choice with ease

This are few things which i could recollect at the moment

How could you forget captain saab Bhaiyya . I think he should be the first one on the list for his patience .
