Top 4k Blu Rays

Hi Folks,

For movie lovers of 4k
Share some thoughts on top 4k blu rays in terms of quality.

My start list

1)1917
2)Godzilla King of Monsters
3) Tenet
4) Revenant

Are we discussing the movie or how good are the audio and video/special effects etc?
My list would be -
Master and Commander
King Kong
Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies..
Star Wars - spl the latest trilogy and the expanded universe

There are endless movies really...

With almost every movie available online, physical media is just for that pleasure of handling it and ofcourse to validate the system with best possible quality available. My picks are 1. Life of Pi 2. Avatar 3. Saving private Ryan and a couple more.

The Blu-ray version are far better - especially the Audio part.
There is a a lot of slam that I find missing in streams.

Yes! The streams come nowhere near the original Blu-ray copies for audio quality. Until the audio steaming bitrates catch up with that of Blu-ray, I always tell people who want to invest in home theatres significantly to keep aside some percentage of the money for original Blu-ray copies.
It’s sad to see people spending lakhs on home theater hardware and use streaming as the only source. They have no idea what they are missing.

Add “Dredd” (2010) to the list. A rowdy, bold sound mix that is just fun!
