UK Offer - Yamaha RXV1067 TIT - Is it good

Hi All,

The Yamaha RXV1067 Titanium receiver is now available @ 36.5k INR from UK. Could anyone please let me know if this is a good deal or the price in India for the product.

Its 7.2 with 105w per channel and has HDMI 1,.4 (8 inputs) with DLNA support .. fits my requirements well and I do not intend to use this for music.

Thanks all. its by richer sounds and offer is till end of this month. Ill need to get it somehow to India thats it. |Will go and check this weekend and let you all know

And arc - Its mentioned 'A further advantage is the audio return function. This lets you both access the sound from the TV whilst outputting the video to it - with just one HDMI cabl'

Borderlinx is an option since they give you an address in the UK too, but your landed cost would be around 50K by my estimate. Have you checked the price in India?

can count a discount of 10% from them..
Is it worthwhile to check for Aventage series..probably not yet in India.

Rs. 50K would be a reasonable price if the landed cost works out to this amount.

Why don't you also look at Onkyo TX-NR609 which offers similar features as the Yamaha RX-V1067.

As per the UK borderlinx cost estimator & given the information provided in the yamaha web site wrt dimensions and weight, the landed cost of 1067 works out to approx Rs.59K The price of the product is taken as GBP 500. Weight 16Kgs.
