Updating speakers? Does it really make a difference?

While the choice is good, however you could have gone all WF speakers as well. They are more powerful (in Watts) and responsive (low frequencies) when compared to the Alumni series. Also the driver size is bigger. Surely if the sound quality impressed you, its upto you.

WF 9.1 (11K) + WF Atlantic (10k) + WF DFS (9k).

Anyway now you should get the real taste of your set-up.

well I am now streaching my budget and planning for paradigm 90CT or definitive procinema 600...any suggestion on these 2 pls ?

I have not auditoned any of these, however you seem to be travelling the same road again. If you can spend 45k then why not on a reasonably made towers and surrounds. For music you will not need a sub and for movies you can connect your old sub. Towers 25-30k and 20-15k on surrounds. This would blow your house in terms of clarity and ability. I wouldn't have gone for 90CT or procinema 600.

I'm not a big fan (rather not a fan at all) for satellite-sub package, so my opinions might be a bit biased.

well I dont want to get towers , I need smaller package hence looking for these

Then with your budget you can get good BS, centre, surround package. At the end of the day its your take. Just wanted to say, there are better packages compared to the ones you have selected, within your budget.

thanks, just got the deftech procinema 600 in white with good bargain price since their prices are excalating due to dollar rise, and yeah there is a HUGE difference , I would say its worth every penny
