upgrade for dts master audio

No.

You'll not find it worthwhile to upgrade just for DTS master audio. Denon 3805 is capable enough is excellent for Dolby Digital and DTS.

If you need to connect video through HDMI, which it (denon) can't handle, an upgrade will be required.

I am not a movie buff, but my son recently purchased a Marantz DTS HD receiver and watching a movie in that setup was excellent.

You should have written the post in normal font.

DTS-MA is only beneficial if you have quality speakers. JBL 5.1, i m not sure which model but i think it wont make much of a difference.

If you like AVR,get Bluray player with 7.1 analoge out(like oppo/Onida),connect 5.1 to avr multich in.
