I am looking to buy a UPS for powering the BSNL wireless router for a maximum of half hour when there is no power.

Is there anything available matching my needs and how much would it cost?

Cant you get it connected to the inverter which you must be having already. Modems and router take minimal power and can run effectively on inverters.

600va UPS should do. Check out for zebronics or intex and the price would be around Rs.1300.

Sometimes with inverters and some not too good UPS, the switching to battery mode may cause the router to re-start or get stuck. Opt for a good UPS like APC or something similar.

A FAR Superior solution than a UPS or Inverter, would be to run the Router on a 12 Volt rechargable ( Sealed lead acid) battery...

Lower Cost + More efficient ( the Router will run longer on the battery charge). You will need to establish a simple charger mechanism.
