Hello everyone,

I’m new to HiFiVision and excited to join this community. Im from Bhubneswar,India

I’m looking for a pure sine wave UPS to run my home setup

My devices are:

•Sony 55X900H TV – 145W

•Sony Bravia Theatre Quad + SW3 – ~200W

•PS5 Disc Edition (launch model) – ~350W

•NVIDIA Shield TV Pro – ~40W

Total load: ~730W (~3.2A at 230V)

Budget: Not fixed

Requirements: True sine wave, quiet operation (high-res speakers), Reliability

Also read APC batteries die early and service is poor Is this true?

So far, I’ve shortlisted: 1. APC Back-UPS Pro BR1500G-IN (1500VA / 865W) – Amazon 2. APC 2200VA Line Interactive UPS (~1980W, pure sine) –

Would appreciate any other suggestions for quiet, reliable UPS options in India that can handle this.I’m open to buying both offline and online also any good shop recommendations in Bhubaneswar would be very helpful.

PS: My apartment has a generator, but since it takes 10–15 seconds to start so I want a UPS for the home theatre to protect the electronics from voltage fluctuations and surges and since I'm living in a rented house a I think a ups would be better solution than installing a home inverter

The APC unit you mentioned are not true sine wave, they are stimulated ones. You can get APC Easy UPS On-Line which are double conversion unit, i.e they never connect load side to mains rather the power is supplied through the internal battery so fluctuations in mains power is never carried out to the load side. (Used in server and hospital). Also they are more expensive like I think 10k more than the 1500.

P.s- there's this unit on amazon which is un deliverable but if someone's pincode works please order one for me too.

For my needs will the 1500 suffice im concerned because my Z9F went kaput due to voltage fluctuation and there is proper earthing in my house

For my needs, will the 1500 suffice because my Z9F Soundbar went kaput most probably due to voltage fluctuation, even though I have proper earthing and yes, the link that you shared is deliverable to my location

I see that it can support external 3rd party batteries. Do you know if we can connect Lifepo4 batteries to it?
