UPS/Isolation Transformer/Voltage stabiliser

Hi,

I realise there are several threads on this topic but I would like to know if a combination of UPS output through an isolation transformer can protect the system consisting of AV receiver/LED TV/Blue Ray player/Speaker system ?

Why voltage stabiliser would be needed?
