using onkyo tx-sr706 as power amp

I've got a noob question,planing to buy norge 1000 stereo amp which is 125w/chn, if i buy norge 2060(30w/chn) and connect it to onkyo and use onkyo as power amp in stereo mode does it make any difference in sq? just to save 6k....

You need to have Pre Out from the Norge stereo amplifier. Moreover i don't think there is a provision in Onkyo TX-SR 706 to act as as Power amp.

if you intend to use onkyo as power amp, why are you buying stereo amp?
