Mind you one of our FMs has got 50" XTD for Rs 50,000 at Metro, no freebies however which according to me is a killer deal!

x50 and xt50 both are best vfm...sq of a any flat panel is not good.however ok for hindi and regional serials...

In the Panasonic plasma range the order of merit from top to bottom is: VT >>GT >> ST >> UT >> XT >> X. VT is 65" and insanely priced, so out. But the rest should serve as the pecking order. At no point try to be too much over budget. While it is nice to stretch a little to accommodate a better model, the "little more" should not exceed 10% of the original budget.
