Velodyne has turned into an online subwoofer company now. They are apparently terminating its entire network of manufacturer reps, and selling direct to consumer.

Buy a product;
Pay for it by Credit Card.
Have it shipped to India.
Pay 100 % correct Duty - 26 ++ % [approx] & use the product, what seems to be the problem ? Do shed some light...
Thanks,
How do you think D & D's import goods into India ???
They have an Import Export Code [This can be got on line now] or your CA can get it for you. Submit the code to your Bank. Call for a proforma invoice from foreign manufacturer, tell your local bank to do a Bank Wire. The manufacturer will get the funds & he will ship. Fedex / UPS etc. will clear - charge you a duty - you pay & the product is delivered to you - home. Rather simple - I think...
Can be done by any person that wants to work with the law & pay 100 % correct import duty. Never a problem....

What I wanted to say is ordering single piece may increase the price.
Dealers get enough discount to reduce price & offer service warranty too.
I was considering this.

The 'margin' in Audio for the D & D is there for a purpose;
The D & D has to 'stock'
Have a 'shop'
Give Demo - same gear & audio gear that is of the same level / other brands.
Do a 'buy back' of older gear etc.
Therefore he makes more money than what a manufacturer makes.
It is all there for a reason...
Besides, he has to counsel / advise / direct etc. All this costs & hence the margin / mark up.
