I ran into this article about a Delhi man who does vinyl/tape to digital conversion for money. I wouldn't really have bothered but his life story makes interesting reading.
Since I don't own any LPs or cassettes, it isn't of any use to me. But if any one of you has old tapes or records lying around, you might want to check this guy out.
