Looking to add a budget full HD projector to my existing HT set up with a projection requirement upto 106’ diagonally, to be used sparingly for movie nights. Viewing distance would be around 15 feet. Was reviewing through Youtube when found the ViviBright F30 which seems to be a native Full HD-1080P projector at around 20K on Amazon India (Seller : Punnkk)
Anyone owning this one or can provide any inputs of will it be a a good option considering I do not want to spend too much for my first projector!
I am considering buying a motorised screen from Amazon due to space/room constraints of installing a fixed screen on wall.

have a look at Aun M18, seems better in picture quality than F30. Advantage of F30 is SPDIF out. Check youtube for comparisions. Hope it helps.

Is it officially sold in India through some distributor, I need atleast a year warranty? On Amazon I could not find any good link.

In amazon, there are few sellers who sell M18. But, the reviews are not there. The link is:

The cost here is very high i.e. upto 26K. From Aliexpress, you can buy for 13k + 5k customs (approx).

You may conisder Egate Projectors, for you can purchae extended warranty directly from the compnay for a little more cost.. I was using Egate P531 for a years time and it was just fine..

15ft throw distance might be a bit of stretch for F30, which is powered by single LED bulb.. 10 ~ 12ft would be best in a fully dark room (or) light controlled room..

Motorised screen can be expensive.. A manual pull down screen with (or) without instalock would be inexpensive..

The specs shows 350 ANSI Lumen. Does it mean it will need very dark room for good brightness? how about mildly lit room (Window with curtain) during day time. Will it work fine?

Anybody any experience?

I have used Egate P531, which is a similar offering.. These projectors are not as bright as main stream brands.. But it is fairly bright..

If you can cut down the light directly hitting the screen, then you can get good image from these projectors..

Thanks! I have been reading about various parameters, specification and installation details about projectors now. I wish we could have demo of projectors too.

Out of all these, Laser projects with UST seems best but too high on pricing.. How about Xiaomi laser projector 150? Anybody has insight on that?

I will stick with Epson, or Benq. If budget permits one can even consider sony mobile projector . Others like Nebula are too costly in india. Maybe We indians should start making these with same Q in India to save cost.

I checked in my room, there is no direct sunlight on my room windows so I can make it fairly dark with curtains closed.. So I think any projector would serve the purpose. However I am too much concerned about long HDMI, wire casing, mounting projector which will affect my living room aesthetics too.
