I bought Vu TV LED49D6545 today and hooked it up to PS3. It says that tv supports 3D but there is no indication on TV or on remote that 3D can switched on or off. Has anybody bought this TV and confirm that 3D can be played or do I need to use another remote to play 3D?

Haha. I think you got confused with 3DComb Filter. It has nothing to do with real 3d but for improving transmission. All modern TVs support this as default.

No...not confused with 3D comb filter. That is DSP filter in all new TVs. The official note is that it is not a 3D TV.
My PS3 detected it as a 3D TV and is asking for set up. I don't know why PS3 thinks it is a 3D TV.
Maybe I'll run a 3D game on PS3 and see what happens.
