Wharfdale Diamond 10.2 is better than Pioneer SP-BS41-LR?

Hi Guys I have a doubt.

1) Is Wharfdale Diamond 10.1 (or) 10.2 is better than Pioneer SP-BS41-LR?
2) Which speaker is better and which is best value for money?

I think the members of Pune meet who have auditioned both speakers can answer better.

Isnt the Pioneer 41 last years speakers for some reason they didnt upgrade it like the 21 last year to 22 this year. I have the 22 LR but still havent opened the box!

But if you are buying Wharfedale in India but someone can get you the PIoneer from US..Wharfedale will cost 2 to 3 times the Pioneer price? is it a fair comparison?

I totally agree with you. But the question was asked in the pure sense to make a purchase decision between the Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 (or) 10.2 Vs. Pioneer SP-BS41-LR on the basis of performance.

I am not going to purchase them from the US since I don't have any sources there who can carry them to India. Even in U.S. the wharfedale is costing twice the price of Pioneer speakers.

In India, the prices are
1) Wharfedale Diamond 10.2 - Rs. 24,000/-
2) Pioneer SP-BS-41-LR - Rs. 16,000/-

I have just want to get the performance results between the two, so that I can make a purchase decision based on performance with value.

I thought it was mentioned in the Pune meet thread that 41bs is in the 10-12k range... In the US, many review sites have stated that the pioneer range either matches or surpasses speakers 2-3 times it's price... I have personally not heard the diamonds... But I can vouch for the pioneer range...

Pioneer can be better option for HT,sound good with music too.Bass is lot & unexpected for the size.
