Wharfedale 10.1 or Tannoy Mercury

Any suggestions for budget HT set up (bookshelf fronts) - Wharfedale 10.1 and Tannoy Mercury - Which is better?

I have the whafs while my friend has the tannoys. I love mine better. Go and have a listen before u buy.

I am new to this kind of forum, I have purchased as Marantz Sr7005, looking for a pair of speakers entire set up, Whaf 10.XX series is what i am looking at, would you suggest these speakers or any other?

you can hear both and decide - that too in one place with one amp
at least "The Shop" or "Viola " had both ( cant remember which)

Wharf 10.1 and Tannoy Mercury both are good and you can't really compare the two on the basis of what people say, Because you will always find people who prefer the wharf and some would prefer the Tannoy

Audition both and see which one you like better.
