Wharfedale 220 - No sound from both woofers Please help

thats at .09% THD. It can provide higher power at higher levels of distortion - 115 @ .9%, - at which point the distortion would still be inaudible to the human ear, and I think it could go higher...

Since he is using in a surround set up and more than two channels are being driven (the speakers are being used as fronts) is it possible that the receiver had sent such a high current/power to damage the speakers? Pl note that the quoted output is when two channels are driven. Of course actual situation cannot be recreated now but my point is is it the only reason? Is the company trying to evade the warranty? Can there be material failure/defect in the speakers even in normal use?

The damage happened when the system was in 2.0. Only fronts were connected, nothing else.

Got the speakers yesterday.
Both the woofers are replaced with new. Costed me 5K.

Now I have set the L, R and C are "Small" as a caution to prevent full range signals.
By default Yamaha rx-v477 set L and R to "Large" if no sub is connected.
So I have to set "Use" for sub so that L and R can be set as "Small" eventhough no sub is connected to 477. Crossover set to 80Hz.
Hope this setting is fine.

It is always better if we have the speakers are small in case the diameter of the woofer is 160mm or less.

If its configured as large there are chances that it may draw more power from AVR sometimes.
