What do I need to get DD 5.1 Sound

I have Samsung Plasma E490 with 2 HDMI input and 1 Optical Out. I have blu ray samsung BD5500 with 1 HDMI and 1 Coaxial Out. For TV I Have D2H HD box with 1 HDMI and 1 SPIDF Out.

Now I am looking for 5.1 sound output from my DTH and Blu ray. Being naive I dont know what to purchase. As I do have blu ray, I think I need only speakers and not HT or amplifier. Please advise if I am wrong. What are the options available to me for the budget of 10k value for money. Also advise the set up. I wont be using blu ray much. Rather HD channels from D2H will be used more.

None of the 10K systems have decoders for digital audio. You basically need an AV Receiver based home theater. The cheapest one you can get is Yamaha 196. The AVR based systems have multiple HDMI, optical, coaxial and analog inputs. The BDP hdmi is connected to the avr to get dts and dd support.

Some of Philips htib have digital input.cost around 15k.

For a little extra what is the opinion of experts on logitech z906 ? It was around 16k on ebay.in, but unable find that listing now.
