Well there were 3 rooms showcasing recliners ... that i think says it all ... having said that the star of the show had to be the aaccoustic portrait room. A keen music afficianado mr shiva was a pleasure to talk to....
the q accoustics stand mounts were quite nice too...
2 rooms with 2 channel only ... it was alll soindbars and atmos elsewhere.

Like how they have recreated a typical living room. Both cosy and realistic.
How was the sound?
The last 2-3 years the focus was mainly on recliners, soundbars and even projectors / screens,,,,,,
Not seen much of HT systems or Good Stereo systems which would cater to anyones normal pocket.....all high end ones which run into lakhs...years back the show used to portray lot of systems from different costs segments....catering to all....it was worth then....
Given the Virus scare across locations,,,already parks or malls etc have seen a sharp decline in walks ins etc.....possibly the same here unless the few of us are persistent to visit and see all

Yes i did.
Tried posting the images but the file size is too big...as the speakers themselves were big.

Anything better in portable but quality speaker like Marshall Woburn or similar in Active, planning for one but not able to visit today.

Please upload pics of What hifi show 2020 and ink some information on demo and display units.
What did this room sound like? I hear they can adjust the frequency response and dispersion patterns using dsp.

I found them quite flat, typical of studio monitors.
To me they lacked the emotional involvement in music which is experienced with other systems.
Although a lot depends also on the source file being played which was from a pc.
Just saw on Acoustic Portrait website they were awarded the Best Sound (Stereo) at the show.
