Good news! I was about to switch to videocon last week, good that I saw this !

Looks like they have started slowly adding few more channels. But nothing from the major channels. Not a single HD channels. Hope in another few weeks we get to see some channels which we are awaiting for a long time now.

I am a TS SD customer. Today I recevied this SMS:
"Tata Sky is upgrading to MPEG4 technology. Some English News channels wont be available on your connection from 15-Sep. For SD MPEG4 connection SMS Y to 56633"
Anybody else also received same message? And if I reply with "Y", will they charge me for MPEG4 box?

Just saw a new hindi movies channel as "& pictures"
I received similar SMS. I have only Hd STBs. Suggest you call customercare and check. I am told by certain source that the no. Of hd channels is likely to increase.
In TS?which channel no? I am yet to reach home.

I heard the star world premiere is going to ts hd on the launch day.
Its really good jump from just 4 Malayalam channel to 19 channels.
They are targeting kerala customers with special onam offer

Apparently, TS will add a new HD channel on 24 Sept. Star World Premier or similar : wish they would add the other sports HD channels soon and also the many others available on other platforms .....

I also recieved the same SMS message.I called the Customer Care number and was told that the STB has to be changed only if it's an old model and is not neccessary if its a Tatasky + which is MPEG 4 compatible.They assured me that they would change my older STB free of charge today. So far, no one has showed up !!!

Even it is being promoted in other channels of Tatasky like Star Movies and Star world. Hope they adds Zstudio-HD and Movies Now-HD soon enough.
I was this close to ordering dishtv atleast to try it out. I can wait a bit for hbo HD channels but star premier was one channel which I had to have. No torrenting tv shows anymore
