Mega HD pack subscribers were expected to get all SD and HD channels free. Now TS has found a loophole and I bet if they add the HBO HD channels, all will be under the Specials category and charged.

If and when they add the two new HBO channels, they will defintely be classified into Specials category. Channels such as Movies Now HD, Zee Studio HD, Zee Movies HD, etc., if and when (and that is a beeeg "if and when"), they will go into regular category.

I think the bigger screwup is not having Showcase HD like they originally had. When one pays for a movie, atleast then it should be in HD, else, one can wait for a few weeks and see it in HD in the general entertainment channels.

Most of the Showcase movies are not new and most of them comes after other channel's first show.
After buying Annual Mega pack for 3 years (where i get 12 movies free every year), I had just watched Bhaag Milkha Bhaag recently.
VOD collection is also average.

Not true. Currently they have Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Chennai Express and Ghanchakkar which arent shown in any other channel.

Agree with BMB, Chennai Express will come next week in some channel and Ghanchakkar is already seen on some &pictures.
Even "Coming soon BMB" trailer has been released on channels. :lol: I guess on 13th Oct. 8PM on Star Plus

SWP will be free for all HD access customers on 12th and 13th Sept.

^ one of my friend has an HD+ box but he is using the box only for recording SD channels. Some time back he had removed the HD channels and stoped paying the HD access fee. For Star world Premiere 2 days free, Anyone has any idea if he will be eligible to get this channel for the two days?

Should remain, I currently have some movies recorded off TCM channel last year- which is now defunct on TS and India.
That is why they are ignoring them as no additional revenue from existing HD customers. Too bad
