Where in Singapore and what brands to buy

I have just relocated to Singapore and i have to set up my audio video. I am new to Singapore and dont know where to buy all these at a reasonable price -

1. Led - 40" to 46" - Which is the latest model and top selling brand

2. Tower speakers - I need two tower speakers, i am used to Wharfedale 9.6 backhome and i would like some thing similar or better

3. Subwoofer - I use Wharfedale SX 150, need some thing similar or better

4. Receiver - Anything decent to power the tower speakers

Y'day I checked out a Samsung 7 series 46" LED 3D for about SGD 3300, did a comparison with Sony same specs and found that Samsung had a better PQ. I also saw that Samsung has released series 9 now, but the dealer didnt have it as yet. I may settle in for the Samsung 7 series,

I wish i could have gone to more than one outlet to share the experience. Due to time constraints, i just went to Alpa Audio in Sim Lim and bought.

However for the LED, I went to Musthaffa and Courts, the prices were almost the same, since Courts was having a weekend offer, I purchased a 46" Sony Bravia LED 3D.

all installation completed, waiting for the weekend to move into my new apartment.

I also bought a 160GB PS3, cant wait to watch the first 3D movie on it.

When you have the time, you should go to Adelphi Mall some time. I have spent an entire day (two half days) but still could not audition a lot of stuff that I would have liked to. Raindrop Audio also stocks some excellent stuff.

Courts has some amazing deals on weekends - well worth the distance you need to travel to get there.

Moved here last week, Beetle is safe back home and all the scooters and bikes. Not going to give them away.

I will definitely go to Adelphi some time.

Yes, Courts comes up with the some good deals for the weekend, i bought my Sony LED 3D from courts last weekend. This weekend i am going to set it up and post some pictures.

So far, I have skipped Adelphi. Nearly went there last time, then decided that as I was seriously not in the market for any hifi kit, then why get myself wanting stuff I hadn't previously thought of!

May be going again in a few months. I must check out the April/May climate... even hotter than Chennai? Monsoon? both!?
