Equivalent of $215 for idler wheel of TD 124! That's over the top and over the moon, but if that's the only choice, then that's the only choice

Nice shop. They even have vinyl cutting lathe.
There are some other quasi idler turntables for idler wheel enthusiasts. Though rare they some times pop up on ebay. One is Kenwood PU-400 and other Beogram 5211. Both are quasi idler wheel drive.

Yes. I vouch for Idlers. I just love modifying them . I know how smart these Japs are. They were buying up all the Garrards and Thorens Idlers over the years. Now the prices are really skyrocketing! I think some manufacturers should consider making them again. I am serious. There is so much life in a modified idler that cannot be produced by many of the belt drivers. I wish I could have brought my Micro Seikie Idler to chennai for the Meet just to prove it. But it's just too heavy .
