Where to audition and buy DAC

I am looking for a DAC upgrade. My vintage adcom 700 has been in use for 10 years now and I want to try something with more input options and possibly improvement in sound signature. As a r2r dac owner, I am looking at gustard r26 as a candidate, but never heard it in person and I also want to listen to x26iii and a26 DACs. I intend to audition and then decide, onsite purchase is preferred.

Now my query is what vendors have these for audition and immediate on site delivery option. I can pre order as well. Headphone zone in Mumbai has these for audition, but my preference is kolkata as it is nearer to me and involves shorter travel.

Since you are already in R2R Dacs ... Denafrips Venus 15th or even pontus 15th will be a better bet than Gustard R26. Headphone zone carries both. Gustard R26 doesn't have much of a R2R Dac flavour. Even Holo Audio carries some good models.

The price bracket is higher for these denafrips dac. Anyone exeperinced r26 and pontus ?

Since you are already in R2R Dacs ... Denafrips Venus 15th or even pontus 15th will be a better bet than Gustard R26. Headphone zone carries both. Gustard R26 doesn't have much of a R2R Dac flavour. Even Holo Audio carries some good models.

Denafrips has a tone which you will either like or hate. It's one or the other - nothing in the middle. I would suggest listening to one before buying for sure!
