Which Mini/micro hi Fi system should I buy

Looking for a compact mini/micro hi fi system for my parents. Budget upto 20K. Considered Onkyo CS 325, Sony . Any suggestions?

What will be the source? Planning on spinning CDs?

If not, you will be better off with a media player (INR 2-5k) and an active speaker like Swan M200 MkII or AudioEngine 5.

Better sound with smaller footprint, but no joy of getting up, pick a CD, put in the tray, wait to load and spin it.

Between Sony and Onkyo, Onkyo is likely to have more refined sound but Sony will provide you more loudness and more appealing sound.

You wont get an onkyo hifi micro/mini system for under 20K , sony ofcourse.

Yamaha MCR 040 is well with in your budget and it has recieved a whole lot of positive reviews , i feel yamaha will give you better sound quality.
