Which projector for office use ?

I am looking for a new projector for my office use.
It'll be used for slide presentations, some short films where color accuracy is not important and at times some videos of standard definition. The room will be dimly lit and never entirely dark.

My budget is of less than 40K. Any suggestions ?
How are LED based projectors instead of conventional lamp ?

Nice to see you here! I was also looking for a pj but for home use...I will be going for an LED pj as I dont want to spend big bucks on replacement lamps. The only problem with LED ones is that they are not that bright....most in the range of 200-500 lumens.
Best models to look for in LED are in our 40K range are:
Dell M110 -~ 30K
Acer K-130 - ~32-40K (price needs to be verified)
Acer K330- ~45K (price needs to be verified)
Benq Joybee GP2 - ~35K

There is also Viewsonic w500, Benq but most of them about 40-50K or even 60K.

Whats the screen size?
Whats the audience size/count?
How far is the viewing distance?

These factors also influence the buying decision..

LED based PJs fall into your budget but are limited by the following:
- Darkend rooms - the darker the better - ideally fully dark!
- Typical screen size max of 100" diagonal
- Bright images/daylight scenes will be rendered very well but blacks/dark scenes may not be good with ambient lighting..

The main advantage of the LED ones are longer bulb life.
But for office use - if the usage is not very heavy, better go for bulb based ones in your budget, as the value for money would be better served when compared to LED based ones..

I am using a LED projector for around 2 years to watch live data of a few markets and i am very happy with the performance.

For dimly lit room you consider a grey screen instead of white.

If you want to use the projector with much brighter lights, then you can go for a screen which is made by a Denmark company but these screens are very expensive. The link is as follows.

I am having 2 screens white and grey, when i am beaming data with in-direct lights the clarity is better with grey compared to white.

Grey screen increases the contrast and black level of the projection.
