One is new around 33K with bill and warranty and second one is, some one imported it from Dubai just two months back, and i getting it for 24K with in excellent condition but no warranty. So which will be better to buy.

My opinion is to go with the Dubai one as you are getting it for Rs 9000/- less. If the seller is well known to you and the AVR is in good condition, I see no harm in going ahead with the Dubai one.

Of course, the call is yours. One year down the line, both the AVRs are going to be in the same boat.

I stay in a city where the Denon service is very very poor and so I would have gone for the Dubai one. The saved money could go for the 'non-authorized' service, if the AVR fails.

29k for x520bt in Mumbai with Bill and warranty. Getting the one from Dubai is also a good option but then service remains an issue. I think even if you bargain and get used one @ around 20k it seems a good option. In Dubai denon avr will not cost more than 15-18k. So anyway the seller is making a profit.

Hi Nimish

AVRs if used in the recommended manner will not fail for years...yes there are some sporadic instances where HDMI boards fail or some minor issues...there are ample repairers available in Mumbai who are specialist in Denon and Marantz....

IMHO, warranty does not play much of a role, in the US, there is 3-5 years warranty which makes better sense....i would purchase the AVR which is 9k or so less...provided its in running condition and everything is in place (as good as new).

Denon AVR are reported to have HDMI issues,so decide accordingly.

Go by the imported one by all means after testing it at the dealers location.

fairdeal electronics, google it!

Thanks! Will check it out. I'm looking to buy the X520BT and was considering importing it. But at that price I can buy it locally.

@OP - Good luck on your purchase. Try getting a good price for the imported one and test it before purchasing.

Hi
I was contact him. Yes, They selling it for Rs.29K (with bill and warranty). But i have some confusion, The "Made in China" is printed on a that AVR ( i know now days mostly electronic product getting with made in china ) But in my another source, there is printed "Made in Vietnam". So What is difference.
Is it differ in product quality ?

Hi

Most electronics are coming made in China......these are doing well.....remember most electronic components in the AVR ...even computer parts are made in China.....if it was me...I would go for the Made in China....also FairDeal is a reputed dealer....

I would have no assumptions.

Most of these factories would have the parent company controlling the quality, be it China or Vietnam and should be roughly the same as the parent company brand name would be on the line.

For example, Pioneer DVD players used to be made in Thailand, Malaysia or China and Japan. Quality was always roughly the same.

So the same water would hold for AVRs also.

Hi Nimiah,

Think again!! Don't see the amount u are saving by going with no warranty product.. If any things goes wrong then think about the money you will be spending in servicing/repair. Also I agree with the feedback shared abov related to HDMI issue. Being in Mumbai, you will get a good deal on the new one.

Once try in Gray market and check the prices, will be easy for you to take decision. Don't worry about services . My Denon AVR is working fine from last three years. Now it's not in warranty period.
