Hi all, as a long time lurker this is my first thread on hfv so go easy one me 
Like many around the last couple of years have given me more time at home which has led to the eventual upgraditis itch. While auditioning cannot be replaced, and interacting with FMs can give excellent insights - it is near impossible to ignore the influence YouTube reviews have had on some of my purchase decisions.
Of all the "Gurus" out there the 3 people below are the ones I've found to be most balanced and generally stick to actual science without going overboard in either direction (viz Darko, ASR etc).
https://www.youtube.com/c/PSAudiochannel : Paul McGowan - he takes the effort to post nearly everyday and his depth of topics is amazing. I also recently read his memoir titled 99% true and it made for a fun read
https://www.youtube.com/c/TheHansBeekhuyzenChannel : HB - again, very balanced and probably one of the most technically adept of the lot
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMADmrBg2mMall8bpC4anQQ : Tarun - covers a lot of gear that is more readily available in India and has some excellent videos on getting the basics right
