Guys..did u watch Shewag's double y'day :yahoo: Some 500 people in our office canteen brought the roof down when he reached the milestone. I think it is time to consider Shewag as one of the legends of the game.

He definitely is...in the league of Lara! And IMO, its a league of 2...

Picked up on the net yesterday -
"Sachin now holds the record for the slowest double century in ODI"
"Sachin = God of cricket...Sehwag = Rajnikant of cricket"

:clapping::clapping::clapping:

he became a legend when he hit the first triple for india bunch of years ago. Dravid is the best batsman in the indian test cricket team, sehwag is next.
I dont have much use for god. he's never there when i need him the most.

Very well said doors666! Amen to that. The God of Cricket is like the police of old hindi films.

I could not watch the entire innings but I did follow it on CI and watched a little when he achieved the milestone which, of course, he did in his inimitable fashion, with a boundary.

Remember the six he hit to bring up his three hundred in Pak?

What a legend.

Viv Richards is definitely in that league..Sachin would have been in that league if he had retired 6-8 years back. Sachin before tennis elbow injury..Damn i miss the Sachin shot of jumping down the pitch and hoisting pace bowlers for straight six :sad:.
