Why coaxials for rear and components at front?

Hi Guys,
I see quite often people recommending coaxials for rear while suggesting components for front? Why not components for both? Is it just cost cutting or any logic behind???

The simple reason which I can refer is that majority of the times its the owner who drives, hence the best sounding speakers in the front doors. The other reason being most of the cars have provision for components in the front doors and only have provision for coaxials in the rears. There is no restriction to have components at both fronts and rears, in fact you can go with the same if you have the bucks and also the provision to install them in your car.

Sometimes, front comps, and rear coaxials create a better soundstage.
You can also use ovals for rear, they have amazing bass, and almost eliminates the need of a sub-woofer.

If you have options to have a component in the rear door it will be great, you can install it without any issues. Even if you don't have options to accommodate the tweeter, you can make a hole appropriately with care ( If holes are not correct, then its a problem, coz we cant drill multiple holes in the sheet ).

I have seen few of my friends using components in both rear and back. It sounds good

Thanks for the respoonses guys.
In my case it's honda city with 8 speakers, so it fits the situation well I guess. What is the best setup I can go for without cutting rear parcel tray or widening the existing holes in doors ? The OEM setup is very weak.
Want to avoid sub in the boot.
